What we build

Four service lines, and the edges of each one.

Most studios describe what they can do. Below is what each service ordinarily includes and, more usefully, what it does not. A statement of work can vary any of it, and where it does, the statement of work wins.

01

Custom software

Business systems built to your own process rather than configured from a template. Internal management platforms, client portals, order and inventory systems, reporting dashboards.

Ordinarily includes

  • Requirements workshop and process mapping
  • Data model and system architecture
  • Application development, front end and back end
  • Role-based access control and audit logging
  • Deployment to your chosen environment
  • Technical documentation and one recorded handover session
  • Defect correction during the warranty period

Ordinarily excludes

  • Migration of legacy data beyond the volume stated in the scope
  • Integration with systems that have no documented API
  • Hardware, network and on-premise infrastructure
  • End-user training beyond the handover session
  • Ongoing operation, monitoring or hosting fees
  • Regulatory certification or compliance audit
02

Web and digital presence

Marketing sites and content platforms built to generate enquiries. Structure, speed, search fundamentals, and a content system your own team can operate.

Ordinarily includes

  • Information architecture and page structure
  • Responsive design and build
  • Content management setup and editor training
  • Technical SEO foundations, sitemap and structured data
  • Analytics and enquiry-form tracking
  • Performance and accessibility baseline check
  • Domain, DNS and deployment configuration

Ordinarily excludes

  • Copywriting, translation and proofreading
  • Photography, videography and stock media licensing
  • Ongoing SEO campaigns, link building and paid advertising
  • Content population beyond the page count stated in the scope
  • Third-party hosting, CDN and subscription fees
  • Payment gateway compliance certification
03

Automation systems

Connecting steps that are done by hand today. Form to CRM, order to invoice, message to work order, scheduled reporting. Measured in staff days saved rather than minutes.

Ordinarily includes

  • Process audit and mapping of the current manual flow
  • Integration design across your existing tools
  • Build, testing and staged rollout
  • Error handling, retry logic and failure alerting
  • A runbook covering what to do when an automation fails
  • Handover of all connected accounts and credentials

Ordinarily excludes

  • Licence and subscription fees for the tools being connected
  • Changes required because a third-party API is altered or withdrawn
  • Redesign of your underlying business process
  • Data cleansing of historical records
  • Ongoing monitoring or an on-call response service
  • Filing any regulated e-invoicing or tax submission on your behalf
04

AI integration

Applied AI with a return you can calculate. Document question answering, support triage, content generation, structured data extraction. One use case proven before anything expands.

Ordinarily includes

  • Use-case definition with a stated success measure
  • Data preparation and an evaluation set
  • Model or provider selection and prompt engineering
  • Integration into your existing workflow
  • An evaluation report against the agreed measure
  • A human review path for low-confidence output
  • A documented cost model for ongoing usage

Ordinarily excludes

  • Training or fine-tuning a foundation model from scratch
  • Model inference, API and GPU costs after handover
  • Any guarantee of a specific accuracy rate unless the scope states one
  • Responsibility for decisions you make in reliance on model output
  • Data labelling beyond the volume stated in the scope
  • Regulatory approval for AI use in a regulated sector

Four rules that apply to every line above.

Source code, domains, accounts and documentation are handed over on payment in full.

Third-party subscriptions are passed through at cost and become yours after handover.

Work beyond the written scope is handled as a change, priced and dated before approval.

Support after the warranty period is chargeable, and can be covered by a separate agreement.

Not sure which line your problem sits in?

That is a normal place to start. Describe the situation and we will tell you which of the four it is, or that it is none of them.
